Our programmes offered under Centre for Distance Education (CDE) in online mode are UGC entitled.

Yes. CDE, Anna University offers professional programmes viz., MBA only after obtaining recognition from AICTE.

Application form has to be submitted through online portal available at https://onlinecde.annauniv.edu/pgapplication/index.php

Cost of online application form is Rs.767/- (Rs.650/- + Rs.117/- GST) for Indian nationals and $59 ($50 + $9 GST) for International learners.

Payment has to be made through online.

The applications and certificates are to be uploaded through online portal only. The size of the certificates for each category is provided in the application form.

Once the applications are received, the documents will be scrutinized to verify the eligibility requirements. If found eligible, provisional allotment will be made as per the seats available, based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Yes. All the students must undertake an Online entrance examination (OEET) to be conducted by CDE, Anna University on the basis of which allotment for admission will be made.

Delivery of programme will be made through a LMS which integrates all the four quadrants – for more details visit programme delivery page.

The Office of the Controller of Examinations (COE), Anna University is responsible for conducting the Online Examinations.

For online mode, the learner should have minimum participation of 75% in all the activities of online programme prior to end semester examination as per UGC guidelines.

The evaluation shall include two types of assessments: 

(i) Continuous or formative assessment - 30% 
(ii) End-semester examination - 70%

The Continuous assessment marks will be awarded to students based on their performance and engagement in either objective / subjective form of assessments.

As per UGC Regulations, 2020 online degree programmes are recognized on par with on-campus programmes.
